Tsunade from Naruto

I like Naruto. People hate on it a lot, but it really is an excellent series. Unfortunately I haven’t read much past the Sasuke-kidnapping arc because I don’t have the attention span for animes that go on that long, but of what I have read I really like. This is the only Naruto costume featured on this site, but I’ve made something like 4 or 5 Naruto costumes total, I think. Anyhow, Tsunade is my absolute favorite Naruto character and one of my favorite anime characters ever. She’s the main reason I kept reading for as long as I did in the first place.
Construction. I used commercial patterns for all aspects of this costume. I did the kanji on the back of the jacket using a stencil I made from an image found at Janchan.com.The necklace I bought, and the shoes I already had. The wig I parted into ponytails using Katie Bair’s tutorial.
